My story

Hi! I’m Bethany and welcome to my little slice of internet heaven. I am a self-taught baker from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Growing up, baking was a big part of my life, learning how to bake from the women in my life. It has become my own form of artistic expression and brings me so much joy! I started Bethany Bakes with the hope of providing high quality, custom baked goods to my local community.

I am an RN by degree and still work part-time in the medical field. I am the mom of 3 wonderful kids and am blessed with the most supportive husband. I love baking and as my kids have gotten older my desire to start my own business has grown. I am excited for the opportunity to provide you with the perfect baked good to compliment you next event!
